DLA is an innovative producer and licensor of media for education. We are looking for a Production Assistant with editorial or creative abilities to join us. You might be a media graduate in early stages of your career, or a TV production professional looking for a change and fresh challenges, or someone who just loves process in the creative sector. You will be joining the core team of an award-winning company with a flexible and cloud-based production model. We operate remotely around the globe, keeping in touch throughout the working day, and creating a supportive atmosphere mainly in calls, channels online and some F2F. Our directors and founders are based in the UK, whereas the rest of the core team is based in Spain, mainly in Barcelona. Role description: The Production Assistant role is to provide the bridge between content production and operations. The Production Assistant side of the role involves day-to-day tasks in video production: making deliveries, relaying between the team and operations, managing schedules, team calendar, and content housekeeping tasks such as updating the catalogues and archiving documents pertaining to the video product. You will be involved in supporting new programme creation, customising our existing films for clients, liaising with contributors and contractors about their production inputs. Skills:TeamworkOrganisationalSelf-managementProblem solverCommunicationDetail orientedInitiativeFlexible and independent working cultureMain responsibilities: - Hold, understand and manage the team calendar, monitoring and pushing team to deadlines and deliveries - Help set-up and supervise productions workflow (Asana, Slack, schedules) - Track the workflow and manage status updates (Asana, Excel) - Help with producing and updating video documentation (Transcripts, version descriptions, VO scripts) - Housekeeping (updating catalogues, exporting RPs, updating different excels > internal content table, Raw Sales data, Rights Tracker and managing data reports) - Contribute as directed to editorial and production process (monitor progress through stages, make or verify changes in scripts, liaise with contributors and be aware of their roles and briefs. Requirements: - Project Management experience - Helpful to have Audiovisual Production experience - Advanced navigation of Microsoft Office tools (excel, word, ppt) - Advanced navigation of G Suite (Gdrive, Gmeet, Gcal) - Understanding of an organisational tool such as Monday, Trello or Asana - Understanding of cloud services (i.e. Dropbox, Vimeo)It is initially a part-time position 9-14h CET.
