Our Creative Services department is now looking for a Production Assistant. The Creative Services department is a centralised department responsible for the production of on-air promotions, showreels and other items for different channels in all the territories. The position will be based at our office in West Drayton, West London and is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 9am to 5.30pm.Roles & responsibilitiesThe Production Assistant's role is to ensure that promotional material is delivered on time. The Production Assistant must also quality control the on-screen information on the promotional material. The main focus of this role is to ensure that the correct information from the schedules and from local managers is included on the break flow material, and to ensure on-air delivery to agreed deadlines. Your duties will also involve coaching voice-over artists in the audio suite with an audio engineer. In addition you will be responsible for music reporting, dubbing and ensuring all materials are shipped. You will be required to organise weekly carting sessions to prepare material for On Air and Final Cut Pro. This role requires a close working relationship with On-Air contacts in other territories as well as with the On-Air Planning and Transmission departments at Viasat London in order to ensure optimal quality and delivery. RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have a can do attitude, along with excellent communication and organisational skills.You will pay close attention to detail and be able to prioritise your workload and perform under pressure.Ideally you will have a good knowledge of a broadcast scheduling system, Final Cut Pro and Photoshop, although training will be provided.Fluency in English and Danish is essential, as is experience with Microsoft office, in particular Word and Excel.
