We want to inspire individuals, businesses and governments to join us and make positive changes in the home, on the high street, at the workplace, in hospitals and in schools.PositionWe are looking for an interim Management Accountant to provide support to our Accounts and Production Departments, and to deliver a timely and accurate reporting process.Our Finance team is headed up by our Chief Financial Officer. This role is a maternity cover until mid August 2021, and you will report to the Head of Finance, and work alongside our Group Accountant and our part time Purchase Ledger Assistant.Your responsibilities will include:Carry out month end process; to prepare the Profit and Loss accounts and Balance Sheet for Jamie Oliver Productions and Video Production Unit (VPU); completing all necessary journals, accruals, prepayments and bank reconciliations and petty cash management with appropriate backup documentationManage the sales and purchase ledger process, including invoice processing, account reconciliation and chasing paymentsLiaise with legal and operations to ensure all contracts are invoiced and paidPrepare monthly journals for salary recharges and recoveries for Jamie Oliver ProductionsReview Production budgets and agree margin and recoveries with the Head of Production before the budgets are locked on PMI, advising them of any problems or abnormalitiesManage the PMI system administration including setting up and training new users, troubleshooting queries and liaising with the support team to resolve issuesAssist and support Production Managers with PMI with their production budgets and cost booksReconcile spend with the Head of Productions, across TV and ContentProduce bi-annual talent reports and ad-hoc invoicing for royaltiesPrepare quarterly VAT return information for Jamie Oliver Productions for the Group AccountantComplete the monthly business survey for the Office of National Statistics on behalf of Jamie Oliver ProductionsCollaborate with the wider Finance Team to deliver the annual audit by preparing the required reports and WIP workingsPrepare the information for the Jamie Oliver Productions and VPU budgets as part of the annual budgeting processDeliver business performance updates at internal meetings as required - Assist Head of Production with monthly production reporting to managementManage the cash safe by handling cash requests from the business, reconciling month end cash balances and placing cash ordersRequirementsWHO WE ARE LOOKING FORTo be successful in this role you'll need;experience using the PMI accounting package is essentialsolid experience in Accounts in a commercial TV/Production environmentadvanced Excel skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Word/Outlook and Googlea methodical and systematic approach to work and you're happy working with minimal supervisionto be comfortable working to deadlines, even when under pressureexcellent communication skills, written and verbal, in order to communicate with internal and external teams and build effective working relationshipsexcellent attention to detail to ensure that all data and calculations are accurate and thoroughOther informationWHAT WE OFFER IN RETURNA friendly and supportive company cultureBonus, Pension, life insurance and medical coverGreat holiday allowanceFabulous food perks including free breakfast at the office, scrumptious lunches, discounted cooking classesSocial events, discounted gym membership, plus massage and nail appointments on siteAnd LOTS more...This role is a fixed term maternity cover contract until August 2021.
