Back2back Productions based in Brighton are looking for a PRODUCTION ACCOUNTANT/BOOK KEEPER to start as soon as possible.

We are looking for an experienced Production Accountant to manage accounting activities across the company, working closely with the Operations Director and Production Managers.
We are open to part time candidates, please specify the number of days per week you are available to work when applying.

This is an office-based or hybrid role for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will:

· Input purchase invoices into Xero, coding to relevant cost centres
· Maintain an orderly filing system for all invoices and receipts
· Reconcile and post credit card statements, cash floats, petty cash and expenses
· Monthly bank account reconciliations
· Check supplier statements to ensure discrepancies are dealt with in a timely manner
· Prepare quarterly VAT returns
· Generate reports for external accountants and Financial Consultant as requested
· Prepare month end reports for management accounts
· Prepare monthly Xero reports for PM's and address all queries

Requirements:

· Experience with Xero accounting systems would be advantageous.
· Strong and proven analytical skills required
· Ability to self-manage, multitask, be resourceful and meet strict deadlines
· Proficient in Excel
· Must be flexible, adaptable to working in a creatively driven environment
