Plastic Pictures is currently looking for a motivated, aspiring and experienced Production Accountant. The role is flexible working 4 days per week. This is a tremendous role within a vibrant, friendly and creative film and graphics production company. The business is fast growing and has seen excellent growth in previous years and expect this to continue so you must enjoy change and be happy to get involved with all areas of the business. Responsibilities:Help Executive Producers/Producers/Production Manager estimate, prepare and monitor production budgetsEvaluating and improving production margins and profitability across all productionsUnderstanding and effectively navigating procurement portals to obtain purchase ordersCredit control (debtors and creditors)Raising invoices / paying invoicesPreparing and managing weekly cash flow forecastsPreparation of monthly management accountsPreparing for year end (and audit)Liaising with HMRC on all aspects of Corporation Tax and VATAd-hoc reporting projects for senior managementWork with the company's accountants to supply financial detailPayroll, pensionsManaging all aspects of the company finances Requirements:At least 5 years experience working within film/television/corporate/media finance industryExcellent IT skills (Mac and PC) and be skilled in accountancy, budgeting and scheduling software (Octopus/PMI)Highly analytical, problem-solving skills and comfortable bringing new ideas to the table.Strong leadership skills and an admirable work ethicEffective negotiatorRe-numeration to be discussed based on qualifications or practical experience.
