The Producers will be responsible for a number of Dens and episodes and lead a team (AP and Design Assistant) in the organisation and planning of complex shoots to achieve the editorial ambition of inspirational and exciting dens for our deserving child contributors. You'll be the main contact for our child contributors and families, and will liaise close with them in the organisation of the shoot, ensuring their wellbeing is upheld throughout the production.

You'll take the lead on scripting, directing and editing the episodes and dens you are responsible for and accountable for delivering a compelling and powerful story. Taking the budget into account you'll make informed decisions during the planning of the den to ensure the editorial ambition is met on budget and meeting production deadlines.

Are you the right candidate?
Previous experience of working with families and children is crucial to this role as you'll be managing the relationship throughout the production; looking after their welfare and wellbeing. Experience and knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding is key.

You'll have an appreciation for the importance of supporting and encouraging diversity whilst working on Production and make a positive contribution towards improving diversity in the course of your work.

Demonstrable experience of working on long-form content, strong storytelling skills and demonstrable experience of setting up complex location shoots is essential.

Strong self-shooting experience is highly desirable, and you'll have experience of motivating and leading a team ensuring all of your team are working effectively on location and meeting tight deadlines.

You'll have strong experience of scripting, and an understanding of what is suitable for our young, diverse audiences. You'll also be competent directing on location, and and have solid and creative experience of taking long form content through a craft edit. Therefore, strong editing experience is also crucial to this role.
