BBC Sounds is recruiting for two new Producer roles to manage the weekly creation and distribution of our radio cross trails and podcast promos. The roles will be responsible for helping to set the Sounds trail priorities, liaise with the content commissioners/producers & marketing to write, produce and deliver a range of trails to support our music, radio & podcast offer in BBC Sounds.

Role Responsibility
Your principle responsibility will be helping to establish a new BBC Sounds Radio Trails team; working with Network & Radio HQ content makers to plan and deliver imaging, verbals, Podcast promo and cross-trails for the stations (Radio 1, 1xtra, Asian Network, Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4, Radio 5 Live & 6 Music).

Are you the right candidate?
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
Good knowledge of BBC's popular music radio networks & BBC Sounds offer
High quality editing skills for use on different platforms, and the ability to operate editing, workshop and studio equipment and a willingness to learn new techniques
Proven understanding of what is needed to make content work on multiple platforms and how under 35's use digital media and third party platforms.
Comprehensive knowledge, understanding and contacts relevant to the radio portfolio.
Proven ability to originate and develop creative ideas which engage diverse, young audiences in a demanding creative environment.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to new ways of working.
