Producer

Production - Newcastle, Post-Production - Manchester

As a Producer in children's drama, you'll be leading and motivating a team ensuring that the editorial vision is communicated and understood and that the content reflects of our diverse audience.

You'll oversee the production and post production process and you'll develop and manage working relationships with staff, contributors and talent and work effectively with drama directors.
Are you the right candidate?

You'll have previous experience of storytelling and scripting processes, a good knowledge and understanding of the children's audience, and awareness of BBC Children's output and children's content from other broadcasters is essential.

You'll have the ability to work with younger people, an awareness of Child Protection Policy and the ability to deal with child safeguarding issues with care and sensitivity as well as an awareness of social media trends and have the ability to collaborate with colleagues from CBBC's digital teams.
