Working with agencies including Weber Shandwick, Havas and Social Life and clients such as MTV, The Wellcome Foundation and Amazon Music and with a special interest in social content for entertainment, music and youth brands, we provide production services from our office, studio and edit suites.We are now looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Producer to join our small team based in North London. The Producer is responsible for developing trusted relationships with clients through engagement with the purpose and content of projects and by managing the smooth and effective delivery of all projects across the company from brief to delivery on time, on budget and to agreed quality standards. This is a great opportunity for a talented junior Producer or Production Manager to step up into a Producer role, pursue your passion for the latest trends in social video and branded content and develop your career. Responsibilities include: Responding to client needs, interrogating briefs and developing effective client relationship by delivering quality ideas and solutionsCreating effective written treatments, proposals and responses to briefs, researching ideas for content that engage with audiences and working with the MD, freelance talent and other team members as appropriate Smooth and efficient running of all productions during pre-production, production and post-production so that they are delivered on time and on budget, and to the agreed quality standards Sourcing, hiring and negotiating rates for freelance talent, crew, editors, technical staff and other creative personnel and managing the work of freelance production staff Developing appropriate and accurate budgets for programmes for presentation to clients at pitch and development stages Managing project budgets throughout production to agreed financial parameters and reconciling programme budgets on completionDeveloping and controlling schedules for productions Effective communication with freelance staff and crew including issuing of call sheets as appropriate Issuing purchase orders, communicating with the bookkeeper as appropriate Skills and experienceTrack record of effective and creative programme production in branded content or commercials production sectors, either in a junior Producer or Production Management role Sound production management skills but with a real interest in, and aptitude for, developing client briefs, client relationships and creative ideas Excellent client liaison, relationship development and negotiation skills Demonstrable knowledge and judgement in what makes effective video contentAbility to develop and interrogate client briefs and help sell-in effective programme solutions Proven ability to budget, develop suitable budget formats and deliver to budget Ability to schedule and control the throughput of a number of productions at any one time In depth knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of programme production, post-production, and distribution techniques In depth knowledge and understanding of freelance staff, crews and facilitiesFull, clean driving licence Mac savvy with strong MS Office skills. Knowledge of Adobe software is an advantage.Hours 10am-6pm with 1hr for lunch.PLEASE NOTE: This role will require some weekend and unsociable hours working, in order to support production demands.
