Job Title: Producer

Reports to: Head of Programmes
Responsible for: Assistant Producers
Contract Type: 12 month fixed term contract
Hours: 40 hours per week (including evenings and weekends when required)
Salary: Dependent on experience

Purpose of Role:

Multi-platform Producer comfortable and competent in running live galleries and post-produced content across a wide range of sport.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan, script and produce highlights programmes and magazine shows.

• Lead production of studio shows and live sport galleries (including liaising with presenters/commentators).

• Oversee all aspects of feature shoots from inception to delivery including crewing, planning, writing and producing.

• Manage workflow and personnel requirements to ensure budget targets are met.

• Keep up-to-date with relevant health and safety legislation and procedures.

• Manage a team of Assistant Producers.

• Undertake additional duties as and when required.

Person specification:

Essential criteria:

2 years' experience in an Assistant Producer role

Ability to work well under pressure

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong problem solving skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Good creative vision

Strong motivation and mentoring skills

Good understanding of finance

Good understanding of health and safety laws and procedures

An interest in sports

Willing to work evenings and weekends when required
