The Jewellery Channel is a British home shopping channel and online retailer specializing in jewellery and gemstones.We are seeking a Producer to be responsible for producing the live out-put of a four hour block of airtime.About the RoleKey ResponsibilitiesPre-Broadcast:Taking the daily production meeting to inform the rest of the crew of any changes, scheduling issues, floor issues, discussing the day's line up in terms of the sell and how it should be structured, also how the product is going to be set up. Flag up any promotional items that require teasing. Prepping the products with the presenter & the member of the buying team, making sure that they are fit to go on-air, doing any additional research needed in order to maximise the sale. Checking for errors in the graphics. Ensuring that presenters have prepped the products and offering additional research that they have sourced. Guiding the presenter on how they will be structuring the sell. Ensuring that the presenter is fully equipped for their hours. Meeting financial targets whilst on air, makes the final decision as to whether to close the auction based upon the financial targets & time taken. Tracking and keeping a record of the sale of products and passing this information on to the Buyer & scheduler the following day.Broadcast:Producing the live out-put of 4 hour block of airtime at a time, (Current Arrangement - Subject to change as required by the business).Feedback to Sales Manager verbally and in the shift report forms, detailing all of the important sales information for the day, ensuring that all faulty items and any product discrepancies are detailed. First point of contact for all other crew members in the event of a problem whilst on air & keeps all crew updated plus notifying the Sales Manager during any emergency breaks taken. Responsible for changing the graphics during the live out-put and being in control of quantity. Abiding by OFCOM rules and responsibility for the show's content. Handover procedure for shift changeover and for breaks cover. Other reasonable duties as request by Sales Manager. Conditions of Employment:Target driven and results focussed individual. Relevant industry experience and knowledge of the target marketVerbal and written communication skills including effective questioning and listeningPrevious tele sales experience in a similar role. Self-motivated and target orientated. Analytical.
