Producer

London

The Producer is responsible for overseeing the delivery of creative projects,managing finances and logistics, co-ordinating collaboration and communicationbetween different teams at Rambert and external partners, and liaising with artists. Under the supervision of the Senior Producer and supported by the producing team,the Producer will take on lead responsible for a number of key Rambert projects
during the year.

The role requires experience, exceptional organisational skills and an appetite for detail. This role is pivotal to the delivery of Rambert's forthcoming productions and a key member of the producing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Working with the producing team across the company's programme including coproductions with Manchester International Festival, Sadler's Wells and the Royal Opera House and the new touring programme for our junior ensemble Rambert2.
• Drafting and managing budgets and financial processes for selected productions including cash flow forecasts, income and expenditure targets, reconciliation settlements, and all monitoring and reporting required internally or with partner
organisations.
• Negotiating deals with venue and festival presenters, artists, performers, music publishers and other relevant organisations, including the agreement of fees and disbursements, licences, royalties, travel and accommodation arrangements, technical
and marketing contracts.
• Preparing and processing contracts for artists and other collaborators.
• Establishing the touring requirements of each production, in liaison with the production and artistic teams, and communicating to the Senior Producer and Company Manager when required.
• Tour management, ensuring relevant staff in the organisation are informed about agreements with artists; liaison with venues.
• Planning and managing the rehearsal process, liaising with the artists and production managers to ensure the creative process is appropriately supported.
• Undertaking and supervising the preparation and circulation of rehearsal and touring schedules in consultation with the creative team, Rehearsal Directors, and technical team.
• Wth the Head of Production, ensuring the necessary technical resources are in place to adequately support selected production, including the drafting of design and production team briefs.
• In collaboration with the Communications team, ensure productions are adequately supported by marketing and press activity including the implementation of a deadline schedule and the preparation and proofing of digital, print material and press releases
as necessary.
• First point of contact for Associate Companies and Choreography Fellow and facilitate their tailored programme.
• Attend tour dates, opening nights or press performances, or any other events linked to the productions (both in the UK and abroad) as agreed with the Senior Producer.
• Any other duties considered reasonable by the Senior Producer.
• At all times to carry out duties and responsibilities with regard to Rambert's policies and procedures, ensuring that your work reflects the company's mission, values and priorities.
