WildBrain Spark is a division of WildBrain, a leading creator and distributor of premium television shows for children and families. Both businesses were rebranded in September 2019 and may be better known by their previous corporate brands: WildBrain Spark was originally known as WildBrain, and its parent company was known as DHX Media. Between them they own over 400 brands including Peanuts and the Teletubbies, and the largest independent library of kids content outside of Hollywood. Our content is shown on our own broadcast channels in Canada, via other broadcasters worldwide, and via on-demand services such as Netflix, Amazon and Apple.



WildBrain Spark was founded in London and has rapidly grown to become one of the largest distributors of digital content for kids. Its distribution network is centred on over 600 YouTube channels which reach over 400 million viewers every ninety days, generating over 3 billion views a month. Its London based team includes experts in content management, data science, content production and brand management.

WildBrain Spark has an extensive network of commercial partners, ranging from major Hollywood Studios and global toy companies to independent creators and brand owners. We provide a range of services from distributing their content libraries and generating new revenues to creating new content and managing their advertising budgets. This network of partners is managed by WildBrain Spark's commercial team who work closely with other divisions within the WildBrain Group, and particularly closely with CPLG our global licensing business. We are always in discussions with the world's leading content creators and distributors, and we need to ensure we understand, anticipate and respond to their needs, and ensure that the solutions we propose are communicated in a clear and compelling way.

The role:

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic candidate who is eager to work within the exciting world of YouTube content production. The candidate should be organised and able to multi task.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest and knowledge of the YouTube community. They will have solid experience in content production with project and budget management.

Key responsibilities:

* Project management from pre to post production.
* Be responsible for supervising the creation of concepts/scripts/storyboarding etc
* Create briefs and sourcing costs to support projects
* Co ordinate projects with animator's, writers, talent, filmmakers etc
* Brief crew ahead shoots on behalf of Wildbrain and our clients
* Provide creative ideas for new video episodes or craft ideas
* Keep abreast of activity on WildBrain and other top youtube channels
* Manage their respective production budget to ensure all production costs are logged that projects run on time and on budget.

About you:
* Highly organised
* Excellent understanding of end to end production process
* Flexibility around hours and travelling
* Knowledge of YouTube and working with minimal budgets
* Ability to direct well and work with diverse range of age groups
* Ability to work with skeleton crew and muck in!

Good to have skills:
* Knowledge of animation processes (2D, Stop motion, 3D)
