Nemeton TV is a sports production company working in television in Ireland and Scotland. We produce over 600 hours of live sport yearly.Our HQ is in West Waterford and our Scottish base is located in the culturally diverse city of Glasgow. Our collective Celtic spirit makes us an unconventional blend of passionate creatives, savvy techies and confident dealmakers. Our output includes GAA, Scottish Premier League, women's domestic and international football and six nations rugby, boxing, horseracing and a range of documentaries.We have an exciting opportunity for a Producer to work in our sports production team in An Rinn, Dungarvan, Waterford.The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the below:- Responsible for programme content produced by Nemeton TV- Reading, researching and assessing ideas and finished scripts- Plan and execute all scheduled productions- Manage production team during live/studio broadcasts- Write running order and show script for broadcast- Book analysts and talent- Co-ordinate call times for all crew- Liaise with clients as necessary and developing a network of contacts- Responsible for programme paperwork as required- Sharing ideas of where improvements can be made.- You must adhere to Nemeton TV's policies and procedures including but not limited to Health and Safety, GDPR guidelines and Time and Attendance policies.- You will secure your best efforts to extend and develop your knowledge of the Irish language and culture, including an active involvement in the company's Irish Language Plan.- Adherence to Nemeton TV's core values.- You will be required to carry out other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.Qualifications:• A degree in Media, TV, Film or other related experience is essential Experience:• 2 years + experience in a similar role.Personal Attributes:• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Confident team worker• Ability to co-rdinate requirements between production, contributors and crew• Understanding of various department needs and responsibilities, including health and safety.Other requirements:• Full clean EU Driving Licence• Passionate about sport• Fluent Irish language skills• Prior production experience• Ability to work weekends and out of hours• Proficient with Excel and Word packages• Experience on Mac an advantageKey Interactions:Operations Manager Executive ProducerThe closing date for applications is Thursday, 31st October 2019.
