Tern Television is looking for a Current Affairs Producer for a new BBC Three & YouTube current affairs commission, with international shoots.Production Dates: March - July 2026 (specific dates TBC)The film will be exploring a high-stakes, controversial world, following real people at the centre of a story that's already sparking big debate.We're looking for a Current Affairs Producer with strong experience making young-skewing factual films.You'll be confident:- Developing timely, culturally relevant stories- Researching and fact-checking complex, contentious topics- Building trust with contributors and managing access- Translating serious issues into compelling, accessible films for a digital audience- Crucially, you should have extensive knowledge and experience of making films about controversial subjects while adhering toBBC editorial guidelines.- Valid I-Visa preferred but not essential.
