To be responsible to?the Head of Video and support the Video team producing, editing and delivering engaging short-form video content for both The Stylist Group's social media platforms and across the portfolio of special projects undertaken by The Stylist Group.??

Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Head of Video?by working quickly and efficiently to produce and edit video content.

The ideal candidate should be resourceful, responsive, and creative. You will also be brimming with exciting and relevant ideas and be able to cut both original content and existing material.

Possess good editorial judgement and have a working knowledge of the latest relevant software and a variety of digital platforms to satisfy a diverse range of clients.

Excellent communication skills as you will be expected to work with 3rd party production contacts to deliver on a variety of creative briefs.

Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, possess a good sense of humour and be adept at organizing projects, managing workload for multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.

Ability to manage basic sound design & audio mixing as well as able to handle basic colour correction; implement provided graphics and titles, and ideally the ability to create original graphics/animation.

A highly self-motivated individual but also to work well as part of a team.

Have a basic understanding of legal procedures that surround online publishing and content creation. Plus, understand?the?creative and business strategy within the business and work accordingly.

Required Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Essential to have a thorough understanding of production processes, from pre-production through to post and delivery.
Full understanding of the shoot environment and a technical understanding of camera and lighting equipment.
Identify trends in video in social media and respond with a unique Stylist take
Take responsibility for all stages of the production process, referring any obstacles to the senior team at the earliest opportunity
Edit with original and acquired content to a consistently high standard
Create subtitles, gifs and thumbnails for videos where necessary
Quality control across all produced work, working with Head of Video to establish
Ensure any external assets used are either fully cleared or credited in accordance with Stylist Video guidelines
Assist on commercial productions where necessary and requested
Keep up to date with new technologies and practices sharing knowledge with the wider team
