Boulder Media has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Producer! The successful candidate will be available to start in January 2024 and is required to be based in Ireland. About the role This is a new key studio leadership position that is client-facing for both new work and for current series in production at the studio. You will be reporting to and working closely with the Head of Studio Production. As the Boulder Producer, you'll oversee the studio resource management to ensure productions are resourced correctly and efficiently and all relevant stakeholders are kept up to date. You will also provide essential production oversight for the development of IP and service tests, as well as regularly produce new bids for upcoming work. You'll be passionate about supporting and developing the team. Providing guidance for the studio production teams to ensure the shows deliver on the creative and production needs is a key component of this role.Skills & Other Requirements Budgeting and Scheduling Work with the Head of Studio (Production) to prepare schedules and budgets and attend client budget review meetings. Support the Head of Studio Production in sales. Creative and IP Development Support the creative directors and Head of Studio (Production) in developing Boulder's IP. Ensure these IP projects, as well as any studio tests, deliver on schedule and budget and to set creative expectations, this involves working directly with clients, creators, writers, and other creative stakeholders. Studio Workflows Working with the Head of Pipeline and the Head of Studio (Production) to drive efficiencies within the department to ensure quality standards, deadlines and budget targets are met. Ensure all crew are kept up to date with workflows and expectations. Studio Resourcing Maintain oversight of studio resource management. Work with Talent Acquisition and HR to ensure they are aware of departmental priorities. Keep all key stakeholders updated on relevant resourcing projections and planning information. Team Development and Sustainability As a senior member of the team, you are responsible for providing strong leadership and mentorship. Foster a collaborative culture and work to build team morale. Working with the HR Team to assist with crew development. At times, you may be asked to travel to attend industry events/markets. Any other duties company management may from time to time deem necessary and reasonably require. What are we looking for? Proven track record producing animation at a minimum of Line Producer level. Ability to present very well to clients. Excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in preparation and management of production budgets. Excellent MS Office Skills. Excellent, proven people management experience. Be self-motivated - able to work effectively in demanding circumstances. Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner. Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to work as part of a team. Movie Magic experience is desirable. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
