PRODUCER DIRECTOR

Description:
Electric Pictures seeks a Producer Director with extensive professional experience in the production of factual programming in the 'tough job' space for UK free to air and Discovery. Applicants should have experience writing and developing shoot outlines for complex stories involving dangerous work sites, challenging contributors, and harsh environments. The ability to think on your feet and manage a small team in the field to produce and film dynamic stories that appeal to a diverse audience is essential to this role.

**Only experienced television professionals with previous Producer Director credits need apply**

ESSENTIAL Selection Criteria:
• Advanced directing and camera skills.
• Experience working in harsh environments.
• Experience dealing with difficult contributors and big machinery.
• Ability to travel to various locations in and around Australia during shooting period(s).
• Proven creative success in producing factual series content to a high standard.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to relocate to Perth, Western Australia (if currently residing elsewhere)
• Overseas applicants will be considered if they are eligible for a work visa.


This position is based out of our head office in Fremantle, Perth, Western Australia. Assistance with relocation costs will be provided for successful applicants, on a case-by-case basis.
