Producer/Director

Manchester

We're looking for a highly motivated, experienced Producer Director to work full time across multiple projects for TCEG Film. The role will be based part-time out of either our London, Manchester or Plymouth office and part time remote working. We require a talented, enthusiastic PD who thrives in a busy work environment, relishing the chance to work across a wide range of subject matter, collaborating with a diverse team of creatives and production specialists.

As Producer/Director you will take ownership of your assigned projects, managing all phases of the content making process from pre-production, through production to project delivery, liaising with our TCEG client engagement team and clients. You will be working as part of our PD team on projects ranging from short, quick turnaround videos and animations to longer term, event style content.

Our office is based in Manchester, however we will provide the opportunity to work flexibility between the office and from home.

What will you be doing ...
You'll be a production lead for projects and manage all phases from pre-production, to project delivery, liaising with our TCEG client engagement team and clients.

Responding to briefs and pre-production, duties to include:

Liaising with client and client engagement team to ensure brief is understood
Interpretation of briefs and writing up proposals in response
Working with Production Management to set up budgets and work as part of a team to deliver the project
Undertake or supervise all aspects of the project pre-production.
Production, duties to include:

Maintain regular and timely communication with client, client engagement team and all other key creative personnel involved in the project.
Serve as primary point of contact for the client, along with the client engagement team.
Post-production and delivery, duties to include:

Liaise personally with all post-production personnel, keeping clear client communication throughout to ensure project is delivered to expectations.
Ensure project is delivered on time, on budget and of the correct deliverables.
Attend wash up meetings as required internally and with clients.

What do you need to have ...
Experience, knowledge and skills:

Ability to devise creative film concepts and a strong understanding of film production
Experience of working in a production environment for clients or agencies, in delivering film of all genres
Ability to understand client requirements and deliver content that surpasses their expectations
Good understanding and knowledge of current production techniques and ability to apply creative processes to client briefs
Highly motivated and confident
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Positive/can do attitude
Lateral thinker with a keen eye for detail
Proactive, organised and methodical
Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism
Ability to manage work in respect of tight deadlines & multi-tasking to work across multiple projects concurrently.
Self - shooting and editing skills a bonus but not essential
