We are looking for a motivated, hard-working team-player of a PD who is a great self-shooter for a new Channel 5 documentary.
Experience in making longer-form docs (90 mins) would be useful as well as experience in crafting biographical films which blend archive & talking heads.
Familiarity with fair-dealing archive also a big plus.
You must be able to work within a tight budget and to a tight turnaround. If this fazes you - this isn't the role for you! You must be able to run a small team in a kind & positive way. Only those with a 'can-do' attitude need apply!
Experience directing talent interviews, great writing & storytelling skills & taking your film through (a probably remote) edit would be desirable for this.
The role will very likely start at beginning/mid Feb and is likely to be a minimum of 14 weeks (TBC). Ideally you will be based in Cardiff - but not essential.
