Reporting to the Head of Production you will be responsible for re-versioning sales and promotional videos. You will be organising and managing the process from scripting, through edit, compliance and delivery.

Writing sales and promotional scripts is an essential part of this role including infomercials, retail sales videos and TVC's. Previous demonstrable experience of writing scripts that sell is essential.

Strong organisational skills are key in this role. You will need to have the ability to multi-task whilst balancing competing priorities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Re-versioning infomercials, retail films and TVC's manging the process through scripting, edit and delivery.
• Review infomercial and retail films and ensure film and script is UK compliant.
• Write CTA and offer build scripts in the JML style
• Cut down existing retail films into punchy TVC scripts with a strong sales message.
• Ensure all elements are ready for edit including overseeing the CTA graphic design.
• Oversee the edit to ensure films meet JML style and standard.
• Manage the edit including VO record, music, internal approvals and delivery.
• Overseeing the re-versioning of infomercials for external media, working with Product Development to ensure timely testing and substantiation is carried out.
• Ensuring scripts are Clearcast approved and that all steps in the compliance process are undertaken in a timely manner.
• Update project spreadsheet and keep Head of Production informed on project progress.
• Adhere to project deadlines.
• Other ad hoc tasks required for the department.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will be interested in DRTV and have experience in writing for this market. Experience within a creative environment is essential.

• Knowledge of ASA guidelines and experience of the Clearcast process.
