BBC Food are currently looking for a Producer to join their social team.

BBC Food is a small, Bristol-based team managing the recipe output of the BBC's programmes and campaigns. We have a database of 10,000 recipes (and growing!) that requires a keen eye to make it the best it can be for our license-fee payers.

Role Responsibility
You will:

Work closely with production teams to create social media assets and plan/guide social media activity
Commission digital/social assets from BBC and 3rd party creatives, digital production teams and agencies
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages followers to take action
Create editorial calendars and schedules for all social media campaigns and accounts
Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

Are you the right candidate?
The Producer will have:

Proven ability to develop innovative social media content within the parameters of BBC Guidelines
Knowledge of social media best practices, digital trends, entertainment and the social media/emerging technologies landscape
Demonstrate excellent copywriting, storyboarding skills and impeccable editorial judgement on social media platforms
Expert knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & TikTok
Good background in food editorial including recipe-writing & editing
