Apply now for this career enhancing development programme via Sky's Future Heads scheme at 72 Films on 3 part a retrospective archive documentary series for Sky Documentaries.

We are seeking an experienced Senior AP/DV Director or Producer who is ready to take the next step in their career and step up to become a Producer/Director.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved across the full production process, from early production through to the final edit.

Guided by an experienced senior editorial team comprising of an Executive Producer, Series Director and Series Producer, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop hands-on experience in:

-Developing strong documentary sensibilities and applying sound editorial judgement.
-Writing shooting scripts and interview questions and collaborating with the Series Director to create a fitting visual style.
-Taking on forward planning responsibilities during shoot preparation, including drafting filming schedules and addressing health and safety and risk assessment needs.
-Enhancing multitasking and on-the-go problem solving abilities, while making quick and effective decisions under pressure.
-Running an edit and building knowledge in areas such as the use of archive, legal and compliance requirements, and editorial standards.

The ideal candidate will have;

-Experience at an Senior AP/DV Director or Producer level within factual programme making.
-A proven track record of working with sensitive access and multiple contributors.
-A strong eye for compelling storytelling and familiarity with the use of archive material.
-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with crew, production teams, talent and senior executives.

The role is London based.
