You will be working with us to manage film and photography enquiries for our private locations & be working in one of the busiest production cities in the world: London.Working in an industry worth an estimated £3.8bn to the UK economy, the role will offer you first hand exposure to the latest filming and photography activities taking place in the Capital. From stills fashion shoots, commercials, corporate and experiential events, TV dramas to the biggest feature films in production - by joining us you will be a part of making London's media world tick.Applicant Requirements:We require you to adopt our professional approach to managing new filming enquiries, take responsibility and ownership for your work whilst maintaining a positive and confident personality. While fun, it is a role full of responsibility, learning and development and we are therefore looking for a committed candidate to fit in with our experienced team. You will receive training and support throughout but sought after attributes include:• Film Industry knowledge & experience with a good understanding of the Locations Department• Excellent interpersonal, communication & negotiating skills• A demonstrable ability to meet deadlines• IT literate (Lightroom, Photoshop and Mac knowledge preferred or an ability to learn new software quickly)• Understanding of different social media platforms• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries• Photography skills & an eagerness to learn more• Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness in a fast paced environmentRole Description:You will be responsible for and support the Private Locations Team on incoming requests to film, agreeing the final activity to take place, negotiating costs for the activity and developing strategies for maximising filming at our locations whilst minimising the impact of filming on local residents and businesses.You will be:• Managing the implementation of new film and photography enquiries (phone / email) whilst liaising with colleagues and location owners and local people as necessary• Processing FilmHub applications - our online application management software• Negotiating the price for the use of our locations and invoicing accordingly• Promoting our locations and matching them to production briefs• Managing our online location library via our online Content Management System• Location photography and editing (Photoshop/Lightroom)• Location sourcing• Carrying out financial administration and invoicing• Attending on-site meetings with film companies and managers of local facilities if required and representing The Film Office accordingly• Oversee the provision of appropriate documentation including Risk Assessments, Public liability insurance and the issuing of filming licences• Maintaining and updating the online Film Locations Library• Marketing our locations and client boroughs as a premier film destination• Creating E-Newsletters• Undertake film industry research and training as availableAll staff benefit from the full support of The Film Office team.
