Film Industry Role

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our team at The Film Office. You will be working with us to grow our highly successful and well-regarded business, managing and promoting locations to the film, photography and creative industries. You will be working on growing our portfolio of locations for creative activity to take place at.
Working in an industry worth an estimated £111.7bn to the UK economy, your role will gain first-hand exposure of the latest film, photography and creative activities taking place in the UK. From stills fashion shoots, commercials, corporate and experiential events and TV dramas to the biggest feature films in production - by joining us you will be a part of making the UK's creative world tick.

Role Description

We are seeking a well presented, confident individual to join our team and to professionally represent our company values and goals. Your primary responsibility will be to grow our library of locations which are available to hire at FilmHub.co.uk. in contacting new property owners, you will be seeking to register them on the platform to promote to the creative industries to hire for film, photography and creative purposes throughout the UK. Our client audience is global in scope and their hire purposes cover all types of creative use - from the biggest Feature Films and TV Dramas, through to Events and Brand Activations.

You will be:

• Jointly developing our existing property acquisition and business development strategy to match our short, medium and long-term company goals, to grow our library of listed locations on www.FilmHub.co.uk
• Responsible for sourcing, attracting and onboarding new client locations and property portfolios
• Developing and managing Client Relationships
• Negotiating Contracts
• Researching potential new clients and locations
• Researching and liaising with industry stakeholders and filmmakers to establish their location needs
• Contacting properties via phone, email and with online video or in person meetings
• Learning how to explain to property owners who we are, what we do and how we work
• Expected to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication skills (written and oral)
• Able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills
• Undertaking film industry research and training as available
• Embrace our team culture whilst being excited by the challenge of meeting our jointly agreed and clear OKRs and KPIs

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a confident, capable and driven individual to approach properties of all types and add them to our library of locations at www.filmhub.co.uk. You will be supported and guided but expected to take charge of your role and establish your independence. While fun, it is a role full of responsibility and development and we are therefore looking for a committed candidate to fit in with our experienced team. You will receive training and support throughout, but sought-after attributes include:

• 3+ years' experience related to the above Role Description elements
• Working, demonstrable success in Film Locations and / or a relatable Business Development role
• Film Industry knowledge & experience with a good understanding of Film Locations or what makes property suitable for creative use (experience in the Events sector in a similar role would also be of interest)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication & negotiating skills
• Desired software experience in: Microsoft and Google's suite of products, Capsule, Lightroom, Photoshop and Apple (and an ability to learn new software quickly)
