Presentation Scheduler

North West London / Remote Working

Reporting into the Lead Planning & Presentation Manager , the Presentation Scheduler will be responsible for the preparation of daily presentation schedules. Application deadline is Sunday 1st August 2021 at 11:59pm. Key Accountabilities * Create and deliver daily presentation schedules, making sure that all on-air elements and any other transmission instructions are accurate and issued to TX on time * Responsible for ensuring all client SLA requirements are met * Liaise with the Planning Scheduler to ensure programming changes and client instructions are actioned * Check schedules prior to release and liaise closely with transmission to ensure smooth running of the daily playlists * Liaise with transmission on any changes, errors, overruns, or underruns that may occur and adjust schedules accordingly * Data entry of long and short form media * Input the published planning schedule into the schedule database and action any amendments when required * Create compelling programme synopses * Critical understanding of workflows, ensuring media is scheduled and managed through to transmission and archive * Using the scheduling database run reports on presentation schedules and/or media as required * You may also be required to carry out any other duties, which are within the scope and purpose of the job Required Qualifications (Knowledge & Experience) * Understanding of programme scheduling - appreciation for editorial content and demands of channel scheduling * Understanding of presentation media types and break formats * Understanding of both the production and post-production processes * Proficient in using Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel and Word) * Good working knowledge of Scheduling systems * Experience of working to daily TX deadlines * Excellent team player * Previous experience in a similar role Desirable * Working knowledge and editorial view of PLP programming * Experience of dealing with UK broadcasters, understanding of UK TV industry * Interest in football and a good knowledge of Premier League * Working knowledge of Provys Scheduling system Working Conditions * This is a permanent position * Ee are operating on a remote working set up until lockdown restrictions have been lifted. Thereafter, the role will be based at Stockley Park, Uxbridge (free on-site parking) * Working hours are on average 40 hours per week * Working during typical holiday periods (Easter/Christmas) * Occasional weekend work * May require late start/finishes and weekend working where applicable * Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
