Prime Video is seeking a highly intelligent and experienced public relations professional to support our rapidly growing and evolving digital video business, to focus specifically on live sports in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic proactive and reactive communications to generate awareness for Prime Video's sports programming including live and exclusive Premier League football, US Open, ATP and WTA Tennis plus sports docuseries. The successful candidate must be highly self-motivated, have excellent communication skills and judgment, exemplary writing ability and strong project management skills. She/he should have experience working with high standards to tight deadlines and be sufficiently flexible to be able to manage ambiguity as priorities change. The job requires the candidate to develop and deliver PR strategies across both live sport campaigns and documentaries, promoting Prime Video's position in the television industry across this genre to an established network of industry and media contacts.

This role will at times require the candidate to work closely with our international teams as well as offering support to our spokespeople at public events.

Key Responsibilities:

· Development and implementation of innovative publicity campaigns for sports programming on Prime Video
· Proactive and reactive media relations in conjunction with the Amazon UK public relations department
· Close co-operation with fellow PR associates across the rest of the Prime Video global team
· Creation and maintenance of a network of important media contacts
· Management of supporting PR agency / agencies
· Budget management and reporting
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive successful sports PR programs
· Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects
· Write press releases and other publicity materials
· Brief and manage Prime Video stakeholders
· Stay current on trends, issues and news about both the business and consumer worlds of Sports television

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Multiple years Sports Entertainment / PR experience
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Deep knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry
· Track record of hiring and managing agencies or direct reports
· Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and attention to detail
· Excellent judgment, particularly in narrow timeframes and in times of ambiguity
· A passion for sport and entertainment
· Willingness to work hard and roll up sleeves to get work done, even when at times it is outside the scope of the job acts
