Post Production Workflow Manager

Feltham

SO WHAT'S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

The Post Production Workflow Manager will be part of a dynamic team developing and maintaining post production workflows. The role will develop and document the end to end Post Production process, working closely with the Post Production Manager to cost and give feasibility of new work, successfully deliver projects to deadline, within budget and leading discussion of the best use of resources, staff and workflow development for the job.

You will manage a team of Technical Assistants being responsible for providing support, recruitment, shift patterns, staff development including regular skills audits and training and effective representation of your team in workflow and planning meetings. You will also work with your team to review and develop existing workflow to move with the ever-changing post production environment.

You will be constantly looking for efficiencies across all workflows within our current resources and working with the Post Engineering team to assessing how client needs are met and delivered. Managing the resolution of technical issues and proposing long-term solutions for recurring problems. You will work alongside the Post Bookings teams in all regions to provide support and cover where necessary, and to maximise scheduling efficiencies across both staff and facility resources in all locations and across all projects.

As part of a fast-growing company, they will have a hands-on approach to the delivery and development of workflows. The role is well suited to post workflow specialists looking to build their skills and experience.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?

Manage and mentor a team of Post Production Technical Assistants - 15

Be the point of contact for workflow queries, troubleshoot issues and assist support teams - 25

Work with the engineering team, production and creative teams to create effective workflows - 20

Ensure workflows are adhered to - 10

Maintain clarity of information and clear documentation to aid good channels of communication between internal and external clients and the Post Production Team - 20

Regularly review and develop the existing workflows - 10

DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?

Skill Level (out of 4)

At least 4 years operational experience in a Post Production environment with a thorough understanding of file-based workflows across GFX, edit & audio. - 4

Experience working with PAM and MAM systems and working practice of post production in a multi-platform environment - 3

Experience leading or managing a team - 2

A Proactive attitude and a flexible approach to work - 3

In depth knowledge of Avid interplay and media composer as well as Adobe Premiere - 4

DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?

Experience working with live feeds and IP workflows

Experience working with automation workflows

Accurately communicate via internal ticketing system
