Post Production Coordinator

London

At Splice, we pride ourselves on the variety of projects we work on, from scripted to factual and everything in between. We deliver content to all major broadcasters, platforms and independent production companies.
We are looking for a Post-Production Coordinator to join our existing Production Team at an exciting time. Experience is desirable but not necessary and training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have ambition for a career as a Post-Producer and will have great energy and enthusiasm, an appetite for learning and a desire to provide best in class service.

What you'll be doing...
Working with and supporting the production team with any project/program they require, this will include covering holidays & absence. Engaging with each project from the pre-production stage through to completion or at stages within the project deemed suitable.
Ensuring the smooth running of each project/program you assist with while reporting on progress to senior members of the team.
Liaising with and maintaining strong working relationships with the freelance offline editors & client production team within your projects.
Client facing; building and maintaining strong working relationships with any clients at Splice that you come into contact with.
Managing availability and scheduling of staff and equipment booking using Farmers Wife, keeping bookings and schedules accurate and up to date.
Booking freelance creatives
Administrating live schedules and logs, keeping them accurate and up to date. Using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Apple OS and any other applications required to meet the client's needs.
Assisting the production team with quotes, invoicing and office support.
General administrative duties & support for the production team
Liaising with and assisting the Post-Production Executives to ensure efficiency in our production department.
Liaising with clients, fielding questions and requests, responding to and compiling requests with your skills and knowledge as they develop and escalating to post producers, senior post producers, and executive post producers as required.
To be proactive in maintaining a spotless facility, to be aware of the presentation of facilities and to escalate to the appropriate department where aesthetic or technical issues need to be addressed.

Qualifications/Requirements
Prior experience for this role is not necessarily required but an appreciation and understanding of the role's requirements is hugely advantageous.
Proficient in Windows and Mac OS systems, Microsoft Word, FarmersWife and Google Workspace is desirable.
