Post Production Co-ordinator

About The Role

Reporting to the Head of Production Management, and working closely with our producers, sound editors and media sales teams, the Post-Production Coordinator will play a vital role within Acamar's production team, taking responsibility for coordinating the global post-production process as well as acting as the day-to-day liaison point.
The successful candidate must be a collaborative team player who's willing to roll up their sleeves and support the business as it continues its rapid expansion and growth.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities may include and are not limited to:

Work with producers, sound editors and media sales teams to ensure the secure and timely delivery of content to third-party suppliers (e.g. broadcasters or VOD partners)

Work closely with Producers to ensure that all assets related to series production (including localised versions) are received as per specific delivery agreements.

Work with the Acamar Internal team to ensure that the content received from external suppliers (e.g. dubbing studios) is technically & editorially QCd. Then ingested correctly.

Work with all relevant internal teams (marketing, social media, video production, product development) to facilitate their requests for access to content files in various languages and formats.

Liaise with Acamar's internal audio and video teams as well as external teams to ensure that digital workflows run smoothly.

Work closely with the Acamar Internal Team to ensure the careful management, tracking, organisation and archiving of all digital assets.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Production team.

Essential Skills

Previous experience (4 years +) in a Post-Production role

Have a first class understanding of the Post-Production workflow and technical deliveries

The ability to react to change and reprioritise work flows accordingly with a keen eye for detail.

Work on their own initiative and come to situations with the ability to detect potential problems and offer solutions.

Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate clearly and concisely

Demonstrable knowledge of video and audio file formats

Solid understanding of various distribution methods.

Ability to interpret automated QC reports to identify problems, coordinate the relevant parties to solve the issues.

Experience with the Designing & Managing of the technical side of a Digital Assets Library (Global Episodes & Metadata etc)

Familiar with at least one platform for Digital Asset Management Technology

Possess top class organisational skills

Other Skills
