Black Lab Films are looking for a Post Production Assistant to join our creative team. We are a small but perfectly formed production company based in Cardiff, who work across a range of visual mediums, though our core work is Branded Content and TV adverts. See our work here www.blacklabfilms.com

This is an entry-level role, so no prior experience is necessary. However, the below skills / attributes are essential:
• Good communication with team members to absorb and interpret comments correctly and efficiently.
• Following instructions - Listening to the team, prioritising tasks, ability to stay calm under pressure.
• An interest in the technical side of post production.
• Attention to detail across all aspects of the role - in edits, file labelling, or cable tidying.
• Keen to learn - Observing the online editor, taking notes / listening to advice, learning about the post production process / relevant software.
• Must be able to make a good cuppa!

The right attitude and a good work ethic is crucial for the role. We're looking for a team player who is willing to throw themselves into the job and wants to progress to Online Editor, as we want to push the right person to progress through to higher roles.
