Post Producer

Cardiff

Reports to: Head of Episodic Production, working closely with the Cardiff-based Technicolor Team, alongside the Feature, Episodic, Sales and Engineering Teams based in London.

Positioning of Role: This role is focussed on project management, client relationships, client experience and facility support. The UK Post Business offers a range of services through specialist teams focused on the differing needs of the Feature, Episodic and Streaming markets. This role will service all these markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Producer
* Project Management: To manage projects assigned, liaising with all key stakeholders for the project and maintaining good and regular communications. Scheduling, creating WO's and effectively managing resources, ensuring projects are delivered to deadline and all billing activities are accurate and kept up to date. Contribute to the Quoting process, co-ordinate workflow solutions and generate effective but flexible schedules
* Teamwork: Contribute to an effective Project Management Team that is fully integrated and highly collaborative with Artists, Operations and Technology Services and who understand and provide Post services. Proactively driving and communicating with a team of operators and artists day to day.

Clients
* Relationship Developing: Able to build and maintain sustaining relationships with clients at all levels and actively assist in the sales process, winning repeat business and taking part in dispute resolution. Set expectations for and actively drive exemplary Client Experience throughout the building and the business.
* Client Experience: Set expectations for and actively drive exemplary Client Experience throughout the facility and the business.

Facility
* Hospitality: Meet and greet clients into the facility, organise refreshments and ensure the needs / requirements of clients are continuously met
Office: Organise and order office supplies required for the facility, ensuring stock levels are always maintained
* Despatch: Book and take receipt of all deliveries and packages to and from the facility, ensuring they are logged into ScheduALL.
Ensure systems / resources are in place to cover the role during periods of leave

Group
* Group Collaboration: To use knowledge, systems and resources from the Technicolor Group to provide solutions to clients of both Technicolor Global Post and Technicolor UK
* Business and Knowledge Management: Articulate, document and maintain processes and procedures aligned to workflow and business process along with the occasional business / project plans aligned to Business strategies. As required share with the UK team and the Technicolor Group.

EXPERIENCE

* Solid experience working in a Post Production environment, good knowledge of Episodic / Streaming and or Feature work
* Ideally has a track record as a Post Producer / Project Manager
* Solid knowledge / experience of Post Production processes
* Proven ability to build and maintain sustaining relationships with clients at all levels. This includes excellent client handling skills, established industry relationships along with experience in generating new business from existing and new clients.

ATTRIBUTES

* In general, strong communication skills, excellent organizational skills, ability to work on own initiative and proactively handle day-to-day Client Services issues.
* Flexible and adaptive outlook. The Cardiff facility will be a small, self-sustaining team with Business Administration and Client Service shared across the entire team.
* A logical problem solver with good attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Proactive and reliable team player
* Calm and professional manner
* Must have the ability to work on own and to be a self-starter, comfortable with remote working. The role will often involve taking direction from London on projects shared across the facility
* Ability to travel / work on location if required
* Given involvement with US Studios, flexibility in work across the evening is considered important. Acceptance of the often-unpredictable nature of projects and spikes in overall workload is critical to the role.
