Podcast Videographer, Video Editor & Studio Assistant

London

We're a thriving podcast production company based in the vibrant Shoreditch area of London. Our state-of-the-art studio serves as a creative hub for podcasters to bring their ideas to life. We're seeking a versatile individual to join our team as a Videographer/Video Editor/Studio Assistant, who will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth studio operations and delivering high-quality video content for our podcast clients.

We're a small company, and growing fast. We're looking for someone who can work autonomously, who would treat the studio as if it was their own!

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:

Studio Management:
Open and close the studio at the beginning and end of each day.
Ensure the studio is tidy and well-maintained, providing a professional environment for our clients.
Reseting on furniture depending on client requirements.
Testing and maintenance of equipment.
Touring of potential new clients, giving information about Podshop and our additional services.
Session Coordination:

Run studio sessions efficiently, including setup and operation of recording equipment.
Offer support to clients during sessions, from self-service setup to full sound/video engineering as required.
File management and upload of raw files after, and distribution to clients
Video Editing:

Edit podcast videos to enhance visual appeal and align with our client standards.
Manage file uploads and downloads, ensuring efficient file management and organisation.
Liaison with clients and completed any requested amendments.
Creation of social media snippets and other assets.
Client Communication:

Maintain clear communication with clients throughout studio sessions, noting any issues or specific requirements in a session log.
Flexibility and Adaptability:

Be flexible in working hours to accommodate sessions booked outside regular hours.
Demonstrate adaptability in handling various tasks, from studio management to video editing, based on business needs.
Most bookings are during working hours Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00, but the studio is open for booking 08:00 to 23:00 Monday through Sunday, so some flexibility to required to cover these sessions
Not Essential but Advantageous:

Full, clean, UK drivers licence. Potential to be sent on offsite recordings
Advanced knowledge and use of Logic Pro X, and audio processing/editing
Requirements:

Prior experience in videography, video editing (specifically podcasts), and studio management.
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, and knowledge of Izotope RX plugins.
Knowledge of Sony cameras, and proficient on audio engineering.
Strong technical skills in operating recording equipment and audio/video editing tools.
Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Availability for occasional out-of-hours and weekend work, compensated with time off in lieu.
