Pipeline TD

Red Star 3D are seeking a UK-based PIPELINE TD to join the company.


This role will involve the successful candidate taking full responsibility for the internal CG pipeline at Red Star, working with department leads to meet their production needs and ensuring the efficient functioning of the production pipeline at all times, as well as developing and supporting tools and working in partnership with other co-producing animation studios.



Responsibilities

Manage pipeline between Maya, Arnold, Yeti, Houdini, Shotgrid and Comp (Blackmagic Fusion)
Manage / edit / develop in-house tools
Help artists with tools / provide tech support


Skills & Requirements

Must haves

Five years production experience (minimum)
Experience with Maya, Arnold, Yeti and Shotgrid
Thorough knowledge of Python, Maya API, Shotgrid
Thorough knowledge of Linux and Windows
Nice to haves

Knowledge of software licensing
General IT experience


This is a fully remote position, but due to the way our projects are funded you must be physically based in the UK. We are open to both FREELANCE applicants, who may work only part-time, and to FULL-TIME employees.
