Ancient History Co-production - short term dev contract for PD/Dev Producer

Alleycats TV are looking for an experienced PD / Dev Producer with expertise in Egyptology and the archaeology of the region, for an exciting ancient history international co-production.

This is a short-term 2nd level development contract with the possibility of extension into production later in the year.

We'd like someone who:
- has demonstrable knowledge of Egyptology and the archaeology of the region
- has experience of international co-production in specialist factual
- can take an initial research brief and working with our current team, turn it into a great TV proposal, with a clear narrative and clearly identified revelations
- is able to identify any additional storyline needs, complete this research , and build it into the proposal
- can join conversation with the gfx team, and build a clear visual proposition into the treatment
- and... Ideally has good connections with experts, but we have extensive contacts and a producer across the project who can support you in this

Alleycats TV specialise in an exciting blend of adventure, specialist factual and documentary programming, on TV and online. We are based in London and Northern Ireland, this contract can be based remotely or at our London office, and will start asap.
