True North are looking for a Leeds or Manchester based self shooting PD with extensive experience in the edit for a second series of Warship: Life in the Royal Navy for Channel 5.

Experience directing talent is essential, as is a track record shooting to a high standard and taking short VTs or longer form shows through the edit.

The role will involve scripting, filming and editing short VTs with presenters, so experience on shows like The One Show, Countryfile, Rip Off Britain etc would be helpful.

Start dates are 11th August OR 8th September - please specify when you are free in your covering note - as well as where you are based.

The production team is based in Leeds, with filming around the country. The edit is Leeds based with capacity for WFH.

End date 26th November with capacity to extend until end of January 2026.
