Operations / Bookings Manager - 15-Month Maternity Cover

Junction Rentals is a growing independent camera rental house based in Herne Hill, South London, supporting film, TV, commercial and creative productions with camera equipment, lenses, accessories, crew, transport and prep space.

We're a small, hands-on team that cares about great kit, good vibes, smart problem-solving and making life easier for our clients and crews. We're looking for an experienced Operations / Bookings Manager to keep the business running smoothly while our current Operations Manager takes maternity leave.

This is a senior, hands-on role at the centre of Junction's day-to-day operations. You'll manage the team and coordinate clients, bookings, logistics, suppliers and accounts, making sure information is accurate, priorities are clear and jobs run smoothly.

The role combines client service, account management, operational planning, logistics and team leadership, so we're looking for someone organised, calm under pressure and comfortable managing multiple moving parts.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing incoming enquiries, bookings, quotes and client accounts
Overseeing day-to-day rental operations and logistics
Coordinating equipment availability, collections, deliveries and suppliers
Managing and supporting the operations/warehouse team
Maintaining clear communication between clients, technicians and the wider team
Spotting potential issues early and finding practical solutions
Helping maintain accurate booking, account and operational information

We're looking for someone with:

Experience in camera/equipment rental, film & TV production, or a closely related technical production environment
Strong client-facing, bookings, operations or logistics experience
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Confidence managing changing priorities and busy workloads
Experience managing or supervising a team
A practical, proactive approach and good attention to detail

Location: Junction Rentals, Herne Hill, South London
Start: September 2026
Contract: Fixed term for a minimum of 15 months, with a strong possibility of continuing afterwards
Salary: £32,000-£42,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm, with a one-hour lunch

There is also the opportunity to earn commission on eligible new business introduced to Junction, with the structure and terms discussed as part of the offer.

You'll join us in September for a structured handover before taking the lead from early December.
