Online Video Content Producer

County Durham

About this role:
We're looking for an ambitious and dynamic Online Video Content Producer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a air for creating engaging video content with a motivation for sales generation, acute attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality output in a time-pressured environment. For the right person, this position o ers good scope for career development, as well as the chance to work on an exciting range of live video projects.

You'll primarily be live producing video streams for our social platforms, and product demonstration videos for www.crafterscompanion.co.uk & www.crafterscompanion.com websites and www.crafterscompanion.eu sites.
You won't be on your own - the TV team at Crafter's Companion already includes a Video Content Manager and a Planning Exec. Due to expansion and an increase in live video content we now have room for more!

Duties include:
Livestreaming Schedule
• Producing and directing up to 20 hours of livestreamed broadcasts each week • Managing all pre-production relating to the Livestream schedule, including:
- Devising show formats to maximise sales and engagement
- Creating graphics and video inserts for the broadcast
- Consulting Talent on show plans and collaborate with them on editorial and demonstrations for each broadcast
- Liaising with on air Talent in order to book them for shows, arrange their travel schedule and broadcast rotation
- Gathering relevant product samples
- Briefing Design and Prep Team managers to supply nished example and demo materials in a timely manner
• Reporting on Facebook Live sales and driving sales targets; reviewing sales reports, along with other data sources including social platforms analytics to identify optimum schedule timings and engagement peaks
• Overseeing and managing the Livestream schedule on a monthly basis
• Preparing the studio for broadcasts including setting up equipment, dressing sets appropriately and creating packshots for lead items
• Managing the studio equipment inventory, ensuring equipment is well maintained and in good working order
• Working with the eCommerce team to ascertain product promotions to feature in the Livestream broadcasts, and schedule them to drive sales and for maximum impact
• Work with the Social team to provide them with assets with which to market the Facebook Live schedule e ectively
• Ensuring that all communication is engaging, consistent and representative of our brand

Online Video Content Creation
• Editing the livestreams you produce as necessary and as briefed by the Marketing team to provide short form videos for use on websites, YouTube, TV shopping channels and other social platforms as necessary
• Recording and editing product demonstration videos and other promotional video material outside of the Livestream schedule, maximising the input of scheduled on air talent
• Writing scripts and copy for inclusion in video material
• Ensuring that all projects are completed to a satisfactory standard on a timely basis

General Departmental Support
• Maintain an archive of video content and other digital assets which is readily available to the business on request
• Manage any required content approval process with internal and external contacts
• Staying abreast of technology updates and best practices
• Supporting the existing TV team in their daily tasks which may include liaising with our TV partners on video assets and other necessary collateral

Key skills, qualities and experience required:
• A background in shopping television would be most advantageous!
• Self-starter, pro-active and inquisitive nature!
• Knowledge of formatting product demonstrations for sales generation
• Strong organisation skills
• Solid people skills in order to manage strong personalities and encourage the best sales performance from them
• Flexible approach to working hours - live waits for no one and so anti-social working hours are likely to feature on a weekly basis (lots f our customers are based in the USA!)
• Working knowledge of social media platforms
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
• Copy writing (strong written English)
• Basic understanding of edit software (training will be provided as necessary)
• Basic understanding of recording equipment and a propensity to learn
