About the Role
PPC Creative Limited is seeking a talented and motivated Offline Editor to join our dynamic post-production team in Soho, London. This is an exciting opportunity for an editor with a passion for storytelling and a strong technical foundation to work on a variety of projects, including trailers, promos, TV spots, and featurettes. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in offline editing and a keen eye for pacing, rhythm, and narrative structure.
As an Offline Editor, you will work closely with Senior Editors, producers, and directors to craft engaging and compelling content across various genres. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of industry experience looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Edit teasers, trailers, promos, TV spots, featurettes and reels, transforming raw footage into compelling content, for a diverse range of clients including studios, streamers and broadcast.
Work collaboratively with Senior creatives, editors, producers, and directors to bring creative visions to life.
Incorporate client and team feedback into edits while maintaining strong storytelling and pacing.
Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
Maintain organized project files and adhere to offline-to-online workflows for seamless post-production transitions.
Stay up to date with the latest editing trends, styles, and techniques to enhance project creativity.
Support the Senior Editors by preparing rough cuts, assembling footage, and sound and music integration.
Troubleshoot minor technical issues and ensure proper media management, including formatting, exports, and delivery.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance the final product.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
Key Skills and Requirements
2+ years of professional editing experience, ideally within a post-production or media agency environment.
A strong portfolio showcasing work in trailers, promos, TV spots, or branded content.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (experience with Avid is a plus).
Solid understanding of offline-to-online workflows, media management, and project preparation.
Knowledge of sound design, music integration, and placeholder graphics.
Strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for pacing, rhythm, and emotional impact.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
A proactive problem-solver with the ability to adapt to client needs and project changes.
Familiarity with colour grading, VFX, and motion graphics integration is a plus.
Passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous learning in editing techniques and storytelling.
