Office Production Manager

London

The Office Production Manager supports the Business Director, Production Executives, Production Managers and Development Team to ensure the smooth running of productions and development projects. This role is also responsible for general office management activities and for the line management of the Office Runner.

The Office Production Manager needs to have broadcast experience at PM level and show an interest in the day-to-day running of a production company and the training of entry level team members.

They need to be personable, highly organised and happy to offer support as and when needed by both current production teams and company heads.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Supporting the Business Director, Production Executives, Production Managers and Development Team:
• Offering support to the Business Director as and when needed
• Assisting the Production Executives with the setting up, management and closedown of productions
• Training and supporting new Production Managers using in house software for accounting and HR purposes- including Select, New Starter process and Navision.
• Management of small development projects
• Management of development and overhead cost managers
• Creating purchase orders and reconciliation of credit card and float expenses
• Managing the development team payroll
• Creating and issuing contracts across various areas of the company
• Supplying post production deliverables to the international distribution team
• Production close down and hand over from outgoing PM's

Line manage Office Runner:
• Managing the office runner and oversee their daily tasks and schedules
• Offering advice and support career progression
• Offering training on post production paperwork, shoot prep, call sheet creation, managing expenses etc to lead to roles within a production team

Oversee Work Experience Programme:
• Point of contact for work experience enquiries
• Booking in and plan individual's work experience programmes
• Offering support and guidance during the placements

Oversee day-to-day running of office -
General office management as required to include:
• Liaising with Production Execs and Production Managers to forward plan office space requirements
• Discussing office space requirements with Business Director, Facilities team and IT to ensure requirements can be met
• Daily management of hot desks
• Point of contact for suppliers used across the company regarding current and future account and subscription management
• Overseeing office clearance at end of productions
• Overseeing management of company assets which include Camera kit, hard drives, stills cameras etc
• Liaising with the building Facilities Manager for all office related issues eg heating, desk moving etc.
• Dealing with all general enquiries as well as for programmes not in production
