The role of New Media Manager is to lead all aspects of digital initiatives as well as to seek up-to-the-minute and innovative multimedia and digital platforms to enable the company to bring new and exciting products to the market.Key Responsibilities:• Working closely with the VP, Creative EMEA to focus on sales as well as to standardise / productise the multimedia offering• Drive sales through the new media offering• On top of all the current trends especially in multimedia and social networks. Identify new and upcoming market trends.• Work with the VP Account Manager EMEA and VP Creative EMEA to build sales pitches • Coordinate with Tech and the group project manager to ensure cost efficient and standardised multimedia offering.• Work with designers, developers and other Creative staff to determine standards, processes and necessary supporting documentation to ensure delivery of projects on time and to budget• Work with the Creative and Production team to conceptualise project-specific interfaces for PDAs and the web• Create interface storyboards to communicate the designs to the team and the client• Devise the information architecture, draw application flowcharts and write documentation of application parameters for Multimedia Developers• Develop and test new concepts for interactive content• Work with Creative Managers, Multimedia Designers, Multimedia Developers and Technical team to produce technical design documents and schedules• Develop accurate costings and schedules to support both sales and implementation of project.• Provide training for Creative management staff both in UK and European region on multimedia • Work with the VP, Creative EMEA and others to determine creative direction of our offer, develop new creative proposals, treatments, products and processes• Source and manage external suppliers and continue the development of internal standards, processes and budgets• Provide line management for the multimedia team including hiring, training, workload and schedule managementRequirements: • Significant previous experience in:o Multi media/web design is essential o Project management experience in a multi media environment• Experience gained in an office or design studio environment• Experience of drive sales through the design and delivery of new media offerings• Flexibility and the ability to meet deadlines are essential• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team• In-depth experience of using the following tools:o Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)o Flash Studioo HTMLo CSS and DreamWeaver o QuickTime and video compression• Demonstrate the ability to positively influence both internally and externally• Effective written and verbal communication• Enthusiastic, flexible and communicative with a positive attitude, dedication and ability to work to deadlines • Applicants with specific experience in designing for PDAs / kiosks would have a distinct advantage. Please provide relevant examples of work (online portfolios preferable).Metrics:The role is based in our London office though projects for clients anywhere within the European region and travel may be required on occasion.
