About Accorder Music, a peermusic Company:
Accorder Music, a leader in film and TV music publishing, is part of peermusic, the world's largest independent music publisher with a global presence. We collaborate with producers, production companies, and composers worldwide, for all their associated music rights and music services.

The Role:
As a TV & Film Music Rights Executive, you'll handle a comprehensive range of responsibilities, from administrative tasks to negotiations, offer guidance on composers, and devise strategies to optimize music revenue. Based from our Richmond office and reporting to the Director of TV & Film, you'll seek new business opportunities, pitch to production companies, and expand our network, including travel to industry markets.

Responsibilities:
• Identify and reach out to new TV & film businesses, primarily in the independent production company sector.
• Maintain and refresh existing relationships with current production companies and writers/composers and setting up in-person meetings where appropriate.
• Drive the growth of Accorder Music's music publishing and services offerings to production companies in the UK and internationally.
• Be the point person for new business opportunities.
• Travel nationally and internationally for client meetings and to attend TV & film markets.
• Keep detailed records of UK productions and key personnel.
• Manage multiple data sources.

Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in the music and/or television production sector.
• Understanding of production companies, television production workflow, and broadcasters, especially in the UK.
• Some sales experience.
• Highly motivated with the initiative to reach out to potential clients and maintain relationships.
• People-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent researcher, highly organized with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Creative thinker with a commercial eye.
• Ability to travel to London, national, and international markets.
• Understanding of music licensing, rights management, and IPC a benefit but not necessary.
