STV's in-house Creative team are currently recruiting for a Multimedia Editor. The Creative team are behind the big ideas that make the STV brand stand out. Working in partnership with Marketing, the team create campaigns that not only promote STV's award winning shows but also support initiatives like STV Zero and the STV Children's Appeal, projects that genuinely make a difference, reaching millions across Scotland and beyond. THE ROLEContract type: 12 month fixed term contractLocation: Glasgow/HybridSalary: £27,000 - £29,000 (dependent on experience)THE ROLEReporting to the Head of Creative Production, the Multimedia Editor will edit and deliver content that drives results - from one-off videos to multi-platform campaigns.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Utilise video editing skills to reversion ITV marketing materials into STV and STV Player branded deliverables for on-air, off air, VOD, partner platforms and social media. Edit and support ad-hoc projects and additional content such as showreels, sizzle reels and internal corporate comms. Assist Producers and Creatives with editing on larger-scale campaigns when required.Work to tight deadlines, editing and delivering multiple campaigns simultaneously.Use approved STV toolkits to ensure brand consistency across all platforms. Use STV workflows to collaborate with the inhouse Creative team and colleagues across the business, such as dubbing mixers, broadcast engineers and media delivery. Liaise closely with the inhouse Creative team Post-production Supervisor to ensure all workflows run smoothly and effectively.Troubleshoot challenges as they occur i.e. fixing and redelivering assets with Harding fails. Look for opportunities to improve processes and workflows to raise the standard of output, including new opportunities through AI.Respond constructively to feedback and suggestions. Assist in any other aspects of the work of the Company as reasonably required.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:We're looking for candidates with:Demonstrable experience in a related role working on broadcast, digital or social media campaigns is essential.Technical expertise in media editing tools and software including Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro is essential. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop is desirable.Experience and knowledge of broadcast post-production workflows.An appreciation for storytelling and the craft of TV. Ability to analyse programmes to pick out key themes and compelling plot lines.Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure and work across multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail to maintain high-quality output.Resourceful, self-motivated and solution focussed. Enthusiastic in the face of regular change.Resilient team worker with a collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.Appreciation for storytelling and the craft of TV.
