Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for a motion graphic designer/video editor to work across our range of equestrian clients, producing static and motion graphics and video edits for multiple platforms. We're looking for someone who can come up with creative treatments and work to a brief and tight deadline, whilst showing enthusiasm, commitment and imagination. You will liaise with a range of roles at Engage including our content producers, project managers and creative director. We are ideally looking for someone who knows horse racing and wants to be part of a team that are redefining the look of social media in the sport.

Key skills and knowledge:

Extensive experience using the Adobe suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator) to produce static and motion graphics and video edits
Develop design briefs that suit the client's needs, working to the project manager or overseeing content producer
Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for visually arresting graphics - from gifs to full graphics-led videos
Strong communication skills both within the internal team and with clients and contributors
Strong editorial sensibility - able to identify strong content that will perform well on digital/social platforms (YouTube etc)
Keen, ongoing awareness and interest in trends across social media, online video and sports output internationally
A creative opportunist up for trying new ideas and thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
Keeping up to date with new technologies, software and techniques
Knowledge of horse racing and other equestrian sports beneficial
Experience of cameras such as FS7, A7S, BM would be beneficial

Able to perform under pressure and to work to tight timescales, as well as manage multiple projects

Salary dependent on experience

Salary/Rate: Competitive

Working Days: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday (some weekend work required)
