Motion Graphic Designer

London

We are looking for a Motion Graphic Designer to join our Picture Head team in London. This position is ideal for someone looking to move up into a mid-weight role. This is a creative and technical role, with a particular focus on the finishing and versioning of promotional A/V materials for Film and Television (including Trailers, TV Spots, Social Media output). The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of After Effects, a solid understanding of the visual arts, a healthy curiosity for design, and proven problem-solving abilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce 2D and 3D motion graphics of the highest standard to meet client expectations.
• Creating branded motion graphics with various Photoshop and Illustrator elements
• Adapting existing graphics into new outputs (e.g. 16x9 reformat to 1x1 for Instagram)
• Localising existing graphics for international distribution.
• Converting elements into various formats for client viewing and editorial use.
• Build and refine workflows, and problem solving alongside the Lead Motion Graphic Designer.
• Coordinating with outside agencies, art services and clients as needed with each project
• Work collaboratively with our editorial and production teams.


Requirements:

• Fully proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
• Strong After Effects design and animation skills, and experience with third party plugins, such as Element 3D, Red Giant, Boris FX (Sapphire, Continuum)
• Experience with post-production compositing, such as motion tracking, chroma key and rotoscoping.
• Experience of working to a high standard against tight deadlines.
• At least 1 year of experience in a graphic design role
• Knowledge of Cinema 4D, modelling, texturing, and rendering would be a great addition.
