MOTION GRAPHIC DESIGNERS for PERFORMANCE VISUALS Midweight to senior level required.
We're looking for creative and versatile designers to work on performance visuals for some major upcoming jobs. We're looking for designers to work in either a full time or freelance capacity.

ABOUT POTION PICTURES
Potion Pictures is an award-winning and BAFTA nominated visual design company specialising in broadcast TV, theatre and live events. Recent projects include designing all the show graphics and live augmented reality for Strictly Come Dancing, designing performance screen content for The Masked Singer, and creating screen graphics for on board theatre shows for major cruise lines..
As a design team, we put special emphasis on skill development, peer to peer learning and our overall goal to create outstanding visual design. We increasingly work with Unreal Engine for real time rendering and scenic designs.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our ideal candidate would already have a portfolio demonstrating a high standard of creative work. In particular we're looking for designers with experience creating screen content and performance visuals for broadcast television shows, live theatre or music performance.
You should be fully versed with After Effects and Cinema 4D. Equally essential is a friendly and enthusiastic approach to briefs and collaboration. You should enjoy working in a team and being proactive in giving and seeking help to fellow team members. It's essential that you have a real ambition to deliver creative projects to the highest possible standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES
? Work creatively and flexibly to interpret briefs which may range in scale and budget.
? Work to tight deadlines, managing own time while working to milestones set by project managers and lead designers.
? Create high-quality, industry-leading graphics for music and live performances as both time-coded and as loops.
? Build projects efficiently to allow quick changes as required and able to share projects with other team members.
? Work onsite and collaborate with Heads of Departments such as lighting designers and choreographers.

EXPERIENCE and PERSONAL QUALITIES
? 3+ years professional experience in the creative industries, ideally with experience working on site specific projects, such as live performance or theatre.
? Great visual eye for design, including attention to detail as well as creative flair.
? Excellent time-keeping and project planning skills, including working to deadlines.
? Aptitude to understand and respond to briefs and communicate design ideas to clients and Potion team members..
? Strong and demonstrable understanding of After Effects and Cinema 4D is essential. Experience with Unreal and other render engines and plug-ins is welcome.

EXTRA DETAILS
? Commencement date is as soon as possible but open to negotiation.
? Hybrid working between home, the London office and possibly onsite jobs around
the UK and the rest of the world
? Freelancers will require their own hardware and software (Adobe CC & Maxon One).
? Some weekend working might be required
? Time off in lieu and overtime bonuses available
