Job Description
The Motion Graphic Designer supports the Informa Connect Division of Global Finance and occasionally helps the brand design team.

The Motion Graphic Designer is responsible for assessing, executing design, and production on motion graphics, event promo videos, show openers, social media and email gifs and anything related to event marketing and promotion. They will be in charge of managing their own work-flow with guidance from the Senior Graphic Designer, and working directly with marketing to meet needs. We are looking for a team player that will collaborate with other designers and departments, execute design work, and bring new ideas to the table on how to evolve Informa Connect design workflow.

This role is a great opportunity for a driven and passionate motion graphic artist looking to grow with a large in-house brand team, to have their voice heard, and create work that will be seen and experienced by thousands, and to work for one of the top companies in the world.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Keep current with emerging motion graphic trends and share innovations with team
Provides motion graphic execution support to the entirety of the brand team and Informa Connect
Oversees scale and scope of their individual projects
Design and produce motion graphics and videos including event promos, show openers, social media and email gifs, animated infographics and any video promo material for internal and external events
Create engaging animated content and infographics for social media
Create explainer videos for client facing apps
· Collaborates with team on project management and brand design implementation
Traveling to events to help support video team when needed
Fast editing skills for same day turnaround
Upholds event brand guidelines
Reports into the Senior Graphic Designer
Qualifications
Exhibits positive attitude, willingness to collaborate and problem solve with teams
Communication skills are important - must be able to understand scoping work and setting expectations with clients
Skills in managing multiple projects and teams within aggressive timelines
Ability to work in matrixed, high paced environment
Ability to handle multiple requests at once as well as assist others on the team
Experience in event video promos, on-site event filming and marketing/communications a big plus
Proven technical skills in the following areas:
Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Microsoft programs
Strong attention to detail
