This role is based in London with hybrid working available.Optrix Media offer a range of creative video solutions for our clients, delivering engaging and results-driven video content. We specialise in corporate communications, sport and branded content. We work closely with many agencies as their dedicated production facility or equally, we love working with brands, helping to define and deliver their video marketing plan.We are seeking a full-time Motion Graphic Designer, assuming the creative lead on post-production and working alongside our team. The candidate will be a highly creative and skilled motion graphic designer, with a minimum of 3 years of agency experience. Editing will also be an important part of this role. A keen eye for design and detail is a must, plus bags of enthusiasm! The team are based in London and the candidate must be able to commute regularly but some flexi working is available. Below are the key responsibilities and experience required.Responsibilities- Taking projects from the initial brief, liaising with our team through the creative process, creating motion graphics to enhance edits or creating standalone animation videos.- Motion graphics including; kinetic typography, infographics, animated explainers, animated logos and titles, live show graphics, 3D.- Editing in Premiere Pro - this will include promotional brand content for websites and social, corporate and events comms, green screen, sports content.- Developing briefs from the initial stage through the creative process alongside our team; pitching, scripting, storyboarding and shoot planning.- Maintaining high standards of editing and design, in line with the Optrix style and the client's brand guidelines.- Customer service and communication during all phases of production and client interaction. Constantly building relationships with clients.Experience / Skills- 3+ years experience in all aspects of the post-production process, with a specific focus on motion graphics.- Extremely proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, with special emphasis in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere.- Ability in C4D/Maya is a great bonus.- Experienced in all forms of editing; from crafting a cinematic and emotive story through to event highlights, corporate interviews and b-roll.- Experienced with technical challenges and problem-solving needs in a studio production environment.- Great at taking direction, but also happy to work independently and make sound editorial choices.- Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn new products and features.- Excellent communication skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse team.The Offer- £33,000 - 36,000 p/a depending on experience- 23 days holiday allowance + bank holidays + birthday- Company laptop- Company pension
