We're looking for a versatile, experienced designer who will collaboratively bring our brand system to life through motion.

You will work across an array of marketing mediums to effectively visualize Qatalog's value propositions, from product explainer videos to emotive web graphics and branding that creates problem-awareness. You will also have the opportunity to design motion graphics for Qatalog's product UX.

This role will work in tandem with both a marketing team that is focused on executing an ambitious go-to-market strategy as well as a design team that is committed to showcasing consistent and unique brand elements across the customer journey. You will partner with a Marketing Brand Designer to implement Qatalog's visual system across landing pages, web ads, social, and more.

The ideal candidate will have experience iterating rapidly on feedback from stakeholders to craft narratives across channels. You have an acute awareness of design trends and will place Qatalog at the forefront of motion design.

Responsibilities
You will take on the ideation, storyboarding, style-framing, design, and socialization of motion assets based on the company's marketing and product goals, and serve as Qatalog's in-house expert for all things motion design. You are comfortable taking rough concepts and turning them into polished creations.

You will help establish best practices for scalable design and modularity for the expansion of our brand system into new mediums. The successful candidate will also have a keen appetite to understand our product positioning, and will look to proactively solicit ideas from across the company.

Requirements
* BS or MS in a design discipline or equivalent practical experience
* 5+ years in motion design for brand and/or product marketing
* A portfolio of inspiring motion design work showcasing conceptual thinking and outstanding visual skills
* Mastery of Adobe CC, After Effects, Premier Pro, Figma, and relevant plug-ins; 3D skills in Cinema 4D
* Expertise in the principles of visual communication
* Strong experience with video including animations and post-production editing
* An ability to create motion out of sketch illustrations
* Strong proficiency in interaction design and UI animation
* Acumen to apply motion design assets to many mediums including landing pages, web ads, social media, video channels and more
* Skills to develop and maintain a motion design language
* Experience in a startup environment a plus
* Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
