Motion Designer

Reigate

Do you love all things video, motion graphics and animation? We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to further hone and develop their already fantastic animation skills. Our video team is looking for a talented Motion Designer to work alongside the Lead Motion Designer, to create exceptional moving image content for a wide range of clients across the globe, in various design styles and aesthetics.

Responsibilities
Design and create 2D motion graphics and animation to deliver imaginative solutions in response to client briefs.
Work collaboratively, supporting the Lead Motion Designer and video team, taking direction and picking up the work of others (where necessary).
Take ownership of projects with the ability to work autonomously, make decisions and use initiative to recognise problems and present suitable solutions (where possible).
Develop concepts/creative treatments, produce storyboards and styleframes.
Manage your own schedule and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Accurately quote/scope projects and time required (to a good standard).
Communicate the status of current tasks effectively and liaise directly with project managers, other internal Jellyfish teams, external suppliers and clients.
Attend (and contribute to) pre-production and production meetings.
Knowledge & Experience
Relevant further education or equivalent experience.
Experience as a motion graphics professional
Expertise in Adobe After Effects and strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. Proficiency in associated Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Audition).
Creativity when dealing with problems, identifying potential risks before they happen, communicating this to the relevant people and adjusting animation output to suit.
Taking projects from concept through to completion.
Working to brief; Follow direction from written and verbal briefs and adhering to client brand guidelines.
An interest/basic understanding of 3D animation within Cinema 4D.
Hand illustration skills would be advantageous.
An understanding of the entire video production process.
